Surface Mount Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm )

• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT pick-and-place equipment used in circuit board production.
• Load component reels, perform changeovers, and verify machine setup for production runs.
• Inspect circuit boards for component placement, solder quality, and manufacturing defects.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues, clear jams, and communicate recurring problems to supervisors.
• Follow work instructions, bills of materials, and production documentation while meeting quality and output goals.

Surface Mount Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous SMT, electronics manufacturing, machine operation, or PCB assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with small electronic components.
• Ability to inspect circuit boards using magnification tools and identify quality defects.
• Must be comfortable standing and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
